Week 4 - The End... but not really

Overall, I really enjoyed working on this senior project. I learned a lot from all of the work I did and the team members I was around. I definitely accomplished my goals which were to build on my knowledge of blockchain technology and learn more about the industry. I especially enjoyed deep-diving into oracles and API's and writing a profile on a company that uses those tools. I submitted a rough draft of my profile last Thursday, and received great feedback on it. I am making edits this week and presenting my work to the team on Thursday. I'm looking forward to this presentation and demonstrating my learning from these last four weeks. I would recommend this project to another student if they were interested in this industry. It is a great way to dive headfirst into the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency. I am planning on continuing this project through the summer as a fellowship.

The company I wrote a profile on is Band Protocol

  1. Thank you for sharing all this with us these past 4 weeks. I learned a lot just from your blog, but I also learned that I know so little about this world and that I don't understand how people assign value to things as a system. I hope others take advantage of this opportunity to learn next year as well.

  3. Megha, this has been really interesting to read through the weeks. What does the summer fellowship entail? Also in your first post you mentioned something about choosing this project bc you believe in the "philosophy" of crypto tokens. Has your work the past several weeks reinforced your belief in the philosophy or made you rethink it in any way?
